Canon Explorer, Sweden

What type of photographer are you?

I am a conservation photographer, that means all I do in photography is to put focus on endangered species and habitats around the world. I want people to understand what is going on in the world and that we, only in the last 40 year have lost 58% of the worlds amount of animals

What are your favorite motives?

Endangered species and where we can make a difference.

Which products do you use today?

I use Canon EOS 1DX Mark II and from the EF11-24mm f/4 L USM up to the amazing EF200-400mm f/4.0L IS USM Extender 1.4x.

Can you tell us about a photo moment which you will never forget.

There are so many special times I have spent out in nature with animals, it feels like every new time is a special one. Right now I am in Argentina taking photos of orcas when they get sea lions on land and when waiting for the orcas to come I have been so lucky to find Armadillos, an amazing animal and so nice to be around.

Can you give an advice to someone who wants to develop in photography.

Spend time out in nature and take a lot of photos. Also, look at all types of photos, and a lot, both from other photographers and in magazine and exhibitions, to learn what you can do better. We can all improve, all the time.
